Adapted from the Stephen Supreme novella Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Retrieval, the not thick cutis or covering or protecting layer tells the narration of Andy Dufresne, a banker who spends 19 years in Shawshank Spot Workhouse for the killing of a human being of his wife and her lover despite his claims of innocuousness. During his continuation at the workhouse, he befriends a comrade adopted citizen, Ellis Boyd "Red" Redding, and finds himself protected by the guards after the warden begins using him in his specie laundering motion.

Storyline:
In
1947, banker Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) is convicted of murdering his
wife and her lover, and sentenced to two continuous life sentences at
Shawshank Category Workhouse. Andy nimbly befriends unlawful
contrabandist Ellis "Red" Redding (Morgan Freeman), an denizen serving a
life judgment. Red procures a bowlder forge for Andy, allowing him to
originate little bowlder chess pieces. Red later gets him a immense
hand-bill of Rita Hayworth, followed in later years by images of Marilyn
Monroe and Raquel Welch. Andy works in the house of correction laundry,
but is regularly assaulted by the "male uncommon" coterie "the Sisters"
and their corypheus, Bogs (Characteristic Rolston).
In 1949, Andy
overhears the fell first shelter Byron Hadley (Clancy Brown)
querimonious about taxes on a forthcoming inheriting and informs him
about a monetary aperture. After another imperfect invasion by the
Sisters nearly kills Andy, Hadley rigidly beats Bogs resulting in Bogs
being sent to another house of correction. Andy is not attacked again.
Warder Samuel Norton (Bob Gunton) meets with Andy and reassigns him to
the house of correction library to serve somewhat old denizen Brooks
Hatlen (James Whitmore), a guise for Andy to manã©ge monetary duties for
the house of correction. His admonition and expertise are soon sought
by other guards at Shawshank and from nearby prisons. Andy begins
caligraphy hebdomadal learning to the category conduct for funds to
rectify the superannuated library.
